yx Sun: I had an incredible 3-hour experience with their 7-course tasting menu! My favorites were the beef steak, quail, and two desserts. The beef and quail were exceptionally tender, and the accompanying sauces were bursting with flavor. Both dishes had a divine aroma when they arrived. Even though I’m not usually a fan of sweet dishes, I thoroughly enjoyed their desserts. They struck a perfect balance, not overly sweet, and the sorbet with sponge cake combination was delightful.The meal began with a brown butter mousse amuse-bouche, followed by the sea urchin as the first course. While the brown butter mousse was delicious, the sea urchin lacked a bit of its distinctive flavor for my taste. Unfortunately, the complimentary bread was served cold and didn’t make much of an impression compared to the other outstanding dishes.The service was fantastic. They efficiently cleaned our table, and water and wine refills were prompt. However, I found the ambiance to be a bit noisy compared to Europea, where I had dined previously. Overall, it was a memorable night at this restaurant.

Milan Nayee: Amazing food, service and ambiance.We had the snails followed by the lamb chops and mushroom risotto. Everything was delicious. Creme brûlée for dessert was also amazing.Cocktails were great, mirage was delicious - only critique would be that they could offer more wines by the glass. But the ones offered were enough to pair with the meal.

Melanie Qin: This restaurant pushes the boundaries of creativity to the next level. The extra effort in each dish is carefully crafted with intention and elegance. It seems like so many ingredients when the plate is presented, but they all work harmoniously together to give an impactful flavor that feels familiar yet totally unfamiliar at the same time. With the menu changing seasonally, it's without a doubt super enticing for me to go back to discover a whole new set of works of art. Because that's what it was... masterpieces!

David M: We would give 6 stars out of 5 if possible. The food was unbelievable - every dish we had was beautifully plated and bursting with flavor. Highlights included the ceviche, anticucho de pieuvre, the anticucho de canard, and the papa rellena. The ambience was outstanding and the service was fantastic. Jillian Lañada: I reserved here for my birthday and everything was amazing. Aaron and his staff really went above and beyond my expectations 🙌 . The dishes were simple and flavourful. We had an 8 course meal and enjoyed trying all the different dishes. The brussel sprouts were my favourite! The chicken was so tender & juicy and the chocolate cake in the end was just 👌!! I highly recommend to give this place a try if you haven’t already
Antonio Sabella: Loved it! I was invited there on business, so the place was open exclusively for us. 1. Nice setup with a very long bar 2. Unique concept, as large groups are accomodated in the back, which is a kitchen/prep space, but quite interesting to try 3. The food was delicious. The cocktails too 4. The service was great. On this point, we were 18 people and the owner/bartender/server/cook Eric was in shortage of staff. He literally did everything on his own, and it was perfect..the night was a blast. Kudos, I do not know how he pulled that off so graciously..this guy is a top restauranteur!

Their wine menu is really fine, with all budgets and excellent recommendations. I was particularly pleased that the staff was able to answer the concern I had on a recent bad review, and I can still recommend highly this place as the quality was definitely there.The 8 course degustation menu was excellent and I will come back again for sure, with a group or with my partner.Thank you Le Diplomate!
Chantal Thomas: With an egg allergy, I judge restaurants on how well they can accommodate me. Will I be turned away at the door, offered the choice between two uninteresting dishes, given weird substitutes - all of these things have happened to me, but never at Diplomate. The staff have always been very careful in preparing my food, offering creative and interesting substitutes, and I have been able to partake in the majority of the menu. I have brought other friends with food restrictions, and none have been disappointed. What a treat to have such a delicious selection of food items!

Squirrel Friend: What an amazing restaurant. Tasting menu has a lot of quality and seasonal ingredients. The highlights of the meal for me were the crab and carrot dish as well as the mushroom oat porridge. I visited Montreal during the snow crab season, so the crab was out of this world. The porridge was savory and hearty. Service was attentive and friendly. The waitresses were so nice and sweet. One of the waitresses was also in charge of making cocktails, and the drink that I got was delicious. The restaurant is in the back of an old church and has a very unique vibe.

I appreciate a slow deliberate meal, never feeling rushed nor forgotten. The smoked oysters were delightful and the sea bass was complimented perfectly with the mushrooms and fennel.

Organic World Club: Top-notch French restaurant in the heart of Montreal! If you’re looking for a special experience, Europea consistently delights with some of the best food and wine in the world. The best ingredients available turned into art for the eyes and taste buds combined with great service is what drives me to come back.Some of the menu highlights included fresh mint tea, onion soup served in an onion, lobster cappuccino, and more paired with phenomenal wines; also, eye watering variety of deserts — my personal choice for best desert was the maple cotton candy.The highlight of the wine pairing was a mistery wine served in black glass. It was of course outstanding in flavor but also unique in appearance.
Vlora Ahmeti: First of all, let me start with saying this is a dining experience. The presentation is very artistic and the flavors are delicate and to be savored. It's not the type of place to go if your interested is a warm, superfilling comfort meal. Atmosphere is beautifully decorated and has nice lighting. Service was excellent, special shout out to Valentino for humoring us. Would definitely recommend for the experience if you're in Montreal for a few days.Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly. One girl was rather abrupt with her attitude but everyone else was nice and friendly.

So why only 4 stars?When we arrived at about 10.45, we asked if we could have coffee, and the waiter hesitated before saying yes and then giving us a lunch menu each. It was only when we looked at other tables we saw that they had a smaller menu. So we asked what they were, and we were told they were breakfast menus. We then asked if breakfast was still available and were told "yes".So, we ordered from the smaller menu and had a lovely breakfast
Eddy Lin: Shoutout to Pascal, probably the best server we had in this trip. Gave us lots of time, no pressure 😉 asked us for our food preference, patiently listing the tea selection. Always had the customer experience in mind. Food was good, just look at how the eggs were done. Kitchen was faster than the drinks bar for some reason, but overall, glad we visited this restaurant

David Pakman: Fantastic restaurant and excellent service. The salmon gravlax is delicious, and they had two great specials the day we went in, one an asparagus and fiddleheads dish with a poached egg on top, and a grilled sea bream. Both were great. Hard to go wrong here.

Pepe The Trader: The return of the tapas formula that I hate so much. Portion too small for the price. Certain dishes are difficult to share in groups. For a few dollars more, you get a hearty meal in a great restaurant. I still give 4 stars for the service and the dishes are still good, especially the desserts. I don't think this formula will save Pastaga unfortunately. It is time for them to start from scratch and above all change their name.

Kayla Seider: My husband and I traveled to Montreal for our honeymoon and had the pleasure of dining at Bouillon Bilk. We had an incredible dining experience! The service was fantastic. Our waiter was very helpful and had a great personality. We had a oysters, scallops and the duck. The food was truly some of the best we've ever had. I am still dreaming about my scallops. We highly recommend this restaurant and hope to be back someday!
David: I do have an expectation that it'd be not just a very good experience but a great and/or excellent experience. A couple of things stood out to me in this regard.The starter bread came with butter, however the butter was still quite cold
Squirrel Friend: This place is simply amazing. The food is creative and delicious. The service is attentive and friendly. The vibe is casual and cozy. The highlight of my meal was the foie gras dessert. Yeah, it sounds kind of wrong but tastes extremely right. Almost like a banana foster with duck liver instead of ton of butter. Wine list is impressive as well. They serve d'yquem for dessert if someone is willing to drop major bucks.
Nicole Caico: Like almost all the other reviews here say, this place is fantastic. The tasting menu was amazing and the bottle of wine the sommelier helped us pick went well with everything. The restaurant is elegant, and all the staff are very friendly and professional.
