Helen Chambers: .The size small was very substantial and the noodles themselves were really really nice.

Edward K.: salad.Everything tasted absolutely amazing and I couldn't help drinking most of the soup, including the chilly oil.I almost regretted it after pooping oil a few times after. Almost.

Fannie: The wonton soup is amazing. Don’t hesitate to order the large format 🙌🏼Food: 5/5 …

Alexis He: Best chinese food I've ever had and I grew up in SF. In particular the wonton soup and the spring rolls are the best I've ever had. They hand make their own stock and wontons. The roast duck is also made in house which is such a rarity! Really a last standing homage to the dying art of traditional southern chinese cuisine from family recipes. Truly a gem!

Terry Steben: Ordered on DoorDash. Young Chow Fried Rice and Beef with Black Bean Sauce. Both were excellent.Food: 5/5 …

Geneviève Fortin: that would render a true chinese experience, as much as possible. The place was literally empty when we decided to try it out but it filled up pretty quickly following arrival. We had fried calamary

M-E Legendre: I hadn't been there for about a year because it wasn't like it used to be, but what a treat we had when we tasted the food. Seems to have new staff, finally! All tasty. Our favorites for over 25 years:Wong Tong Soup with NoodleGeneral taoCoarse salt shrimpCantonese chow meinSesame beef

Sharon L: .We ordered through Uber eats, so the price per item was pretty high, but comparable to other restaurants. Most of the food was good. Here are how I rate the items from best to worst.Chicken chow mein: Very Delicious. I was surprised at how crispy and crunchy the noodles on top still were by the time we got to eat. The chicken and vegetables were also in a delicious sauce. It was a pretty good portion and there was nothing about this we didn't like. I'd definitely order it again.Mongolian beef/beef sauté: Really good! If you are expecting anything like P.f. Chang's Mongolian beef, don't be surprised that it's nothing like that. It has other vegetables like red pepper, onion and snow peas. It is very spicy

Makéda Batacka: Great service and it’s so good! There are a few starters, but the restaurant really specializes in Chinese dumplings so the dishes are dumplings only. Of course, there are plenty of choices!Generally, there are not many people so reservations are not necessary, except for large groups!

Eric Fleising: Always amazing. The Japanese tofu is incredible!

Shahanaz Bhuiyan: I have always ordered food from this place but this time we ate at the restaurant for my friend’s birthday celebration. The service was super prompt. The restaurant was big and spacious and pretty neat compared to the other Chinese restaurants in the same area. We ordered tons of food to share, on our turning table. Everything was good, my top dishes were shrimp pepper and eggplant general Tao. Definitely recommended.

Laura B: I don't understand the mountain of bad comments! Of course, they don't speak French well, but they speak English and are very nice. I'm from the Restoration and I don't hesitate to say when something is wrong. She gave us the choice of a second table, the first being on the way, my companion doesn't eat pork, she also offered to change the steam butchers. But above all we enjoyed a combo for two people, more than adequate value for money in Montreal!

Steve Shanahan: The food is super tasty and basic. The menu of Chinese food standards hasn't changed in yearsPerfect for the student budget or for a family wishing to pay Fast Food prices for a sit down, home cooked plate of classics. Gluten free options are very limited, but if you tell them they can serve you a good meal.

Khamphon INTHAVONG: Finally I ate there! I had the chef’s special with rice and crispy pork for $12! Great value for money!I also advise you to take away the crispy pork which is really good. The setting is also excellent, a great experience where colleagues also appreciated, I will definitely return.

Montreal Chinese Crepes & Dumplings: what do users think?

Annie Levert: Well, this place is so great! We stopped on our way home and we so happy to discover it! First of all, they are so incredibly friendly and welcoming. Great dumpling choices and just not the same old flavors. We had spicy beef, yummy and flavorful, and chicken walnut which surprisingly just go so well together. And the crepe/sandwich were such a perfect mix of flavor, crunchiness, gooeness and spicyness that they left us speechless. Perfectly executed. A+

Neal Irvine: This dumpling restaurant goes beyond just serving delicious food; they embody warmth and care. They not only provide exceptional dumplings but also add an extra touch of love.Every dumpling is bursting with fresh ingredients, generously stuffed, and consistently delicious. It's not just a meal; it's an experience that leaves you feeling nurtured and appreciated.Highly recommended for both the food and the heartfelt service. Many thanks!

Chloée: We were looking for some dumplings around our place. We tried that place and we've been going there every week since then. The staff has always been super kind, professional and friendly. The dumplings are : amazing. We just can't get over it. Maybe one day we'll try something else but we'd have to get sick of those first. Our dog princess loves to go there, she's always happy with the warm welcome. We just love this place.

Jiamei Wang: i used to come here so often when i was in highschool! i even learnt how to make crepes myself by watching the shopowner - she was always so sweet to me. even though i don't come by anymore, this place will always be special to me!

Mai Xiang Yuan Dumpling Chinatown: what do users think?

Rose: I NEVER leave disappointed from this place. This restaurant is a hidden gem, not only do they have student friendly prices but their food is amazing. Our group of 5 where all able to eat till we felt like we where about to POP for only 60$!! Iv tried almost every dumpling they offer and not one of them is bad, my noteable favourites being their xiao long boa with pork and shrimp, amazing! I recommend this place not only to people who want to save money, but people who are genuinely looking for authentic and delicious cuisine.

Cassandre Létourneau: Fast service, affordable food, best dumplings ever!

Eifion Pritchard: I used their takeout service during covid and was very satisfied. Recently went there for lunch with a friend and we ordered fried as well as steamed dumplings : shrimp and pork as well as beef and Curry. The shrimp and pork were over fried, which was not the case during covid, and I think it was an exception to the norm. Both orders were delicious.

Sammi & Soupe Dumpling - (Ste-Catherine St. O): what do users think?

Cici h: BEST DUMPLING PLACE IVE EVER BEEN TO. These dumplings are so amazing. All for a great price super cheap and delicious. they have a cute little outdoor area. The inside is super fast paced feeling that’s also a little crammed. It’s often busy on Friday and Saturday so you might have to wait outside for a bit but it is ENTIRELY worth it. They have many different types of dumplings from soup dumplings which are to die for i strongly recommend the shrimp and lamb soup dumplings. They also have pan fried one super good as well. the flavours in these dumplings are perfect and if you haven’t gone i suggest you get up and go right now.

Loïc Antoine: The dumplings here are so good, the best in MontrealGo ahead with your eyes closed

Christ Stone: May 10 2024,i was having lunch in this joint, the girl & the guy that served me where very nice. You have to try the Chicken, Pork, Beef or Vege Soup Dumplings, they are the best Dumplings in MTL.BTW the place was empty at 10:30 and suddenly when my food was ready at 10:48, restaurant was full, It was crazyseriously you gotta eat here!!!!

Sakib Faruk: Clearly the best dumpling in the town. The steamed ones are unique. The pork and leak, pork, leak and shrimp and lamb coriander are the best. Same is true for fried dumpling. If you are two persons, order one steamed and one fried Dumpling. If you like pork, you can order shanghai fried buns, they are delicious. Some vegetarian dumplings are also available. For starter, hot and spur soup, wonton soups, seasoned cucumbers and many other options. If you are visiting montreal, this is a must go place

NUDO Restaurant: what do users think?

Юрий Хомяков: Very good

Maggie Wing: Really nice restaurant. The price was good as well. It’s a pity that they are closed right now. Hope they could be able to reopen soon

Erika Else Arless: great food. so sad it's currently closed!!

David Griffith: pog

Amanda Ly: Fresh hand drawn noodles. Authentic taste and reasonable prices. That said, the service could be improved.

Jamee Naylor: When are you coming back ???? There is no other place like this !!!!!! Pleaseeeeeeee, someone, tell me another place as good as this?

Little Bun Bun: Such a comforting meal, especially on a cold rainy day! This restaurant was recommended by my friend and since then, it has been our go-to spot! The noodles are handmade so you can definitely count on them for the freshness! The cooking process is interesting to watch. This place is located in a big basement so it is like a hidden cocoon. You get peace of mind while enjoying a nice bowl of noodles! 🍜

Brenda R: Been here several times, including pre-covid. Just went three days ago for takeout and the noodles are still really good and service is quick.

Megane Dandurand: Went there 3 times in a row for my birthday and you can be huge groups no problem. They make their own noodles and their soups are amazing! Love the dumplings too! Never saw anyone who didn't love their plate.

Gerthy Laurenstin: Place to discover

Amigo Restaurant: what do users think?

Aye Cham: Been here twice with different sizes of parties and both times were excellent. Both parties unanimously agreed that this is the best salt and pepper place in Montreal and we will be frequenting again. Serving portions were big and greatly priced. Both the lady and gentleman serving us both times were friendly and kind and gave us good recommendations. Gem of a place.

Antibases Armizer: Best salt and pepper fried pork chops. Biggest portions size for the price in Chinatown. Got some courtesy tea upon sittin, it was nice although scalding hot. Ordered the pork chops. They come with rice, a fried egg and bok choy. Everything was delicious. I always leave satisfied when I go to this restaurant. The service was nice and the atmosphere was cozy.

Discovering Destinations: When we order Chinese food from Montreal Chinatown, we usually go to the same locations. This time we wanted to try something different.. it was slightly difficult to find the restaurant as we didn’t realize that it was located on the second level. Once we got up the stairs, we had a look at the menu and ordered the dishes that we wanted. The food was prepared quite quickly.. everything was ok

Kiki V: My review is quite generous, the place was good. Finding it was difficult because it’s upstairs and there wasn’t a sign that I could see. The food was ok, the general Tao was a bit hard to chew compared to other places that I usually eat the same dish. The beef fried rice was phenomenal but the Cantonese chow mein was disgusting. It was more like noddles and a thick gravy poured on top with tasteless shrimp sooooo, don’t recommend that. The atmosphere was traditional but a bit lacklustre in terms of lighting and environment. That was probably due to us being seated in a tight corner. The waiter was nice but cluttered as he was the ONLY one to be waiting at least 4 tables, checking out and doing Uber. He was doing too much by himself making wait times longer. More staff needed? Perhaps.

Qing Hua Dumpling - (ChinaTown & Boul. St-Laurent): what do users think?

Lula Villa: The dumplings were delicious and despite obviously being handmade contrary to a lot of places, the food came quickly. Good choice of vegetarian dumplings for once and I highly recommend the egg and spinach one!Vegetarian options: Better options than any dumpling shops I've been to, more creative too

Tennessee Fats: I was there at 6 and walked right in to a table on a Friday night but I will warn you that line up JUMPED up materially behind me.The servers do a great job walking you through the menu if it’s your first time.So many types of dumplings.I had the pork and dill. I would suggest the chefs combo though as my wife had that and really enjoyed it.Great experience, cheap pricing, and clean place!

Nancy Martin: Delicious and good portions. Go to place when I visit MontrealVegetarian options: Yes listed on the menu.Kid-friendliness: Kids were having a good time at another table, they have highchairs. Noisy when crowded so kids can blend in with their noise.
