Musée des pompiers de Montréal: what do users think?

Vyckie B: discover the history of firefighters, their first tools of the time, their evolution as well as the significant fires of Montreal. We returned out of curiosity seeing the beautiful facade of the station and we were welcomed by a firefighter who shared his knowledge with us with passion and great sympathy. We also witnessed departures from interventions for access to the first services. And was able to see the trucks up close. Super fun to do with children too!! The museum is small, it lasts about an hour depending on your questions and discussions. A big thank you to this great team.

brice touzin: Very interesting museum, retracing the history of Montreal firefighters, their equipment, major disasters...Richly provided exhibition and very friendly guide with whom we were able to exchange a lot.

Aline You: Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No

Eugène Bertrand Harvey: An exceptional place

Richard Anderson: Nice place

Cecile Champonnois: The welcome was impeccable, the visit very enriching for the adults and the children's eyes lit up several times during the discovery of the different rooms. They obviously loved climbing into the truck at the end of the visit! Cherry on the cake!We greatly appreciated the kindness and patience of the volunteer firefighter who introduced us to the rich history of Montreal's auxiliary firefighters while putting up with the turbulence of 2 young children aged 3!Lots of love for his job and respect for his colleagues. A magnificent testimony to a firefighter's life!An unforgettable experience!

Simon Blais: Impeccable welcome and the auxiliary firefighters are most generous

Gaetan Matte: Everything about the history of Montreal firefighters. Visit explained by a firefighter!

Rey Chevreux: A great encounter, a museum full of history run by enthusiasts, a very good time, I really recommend the visit!

Luc Billot: Great welcome received at the museum.A firefighter welcomes you and gives you a tour, he had lots of anecdotes to tell us. Super interesting guide who loves his job and showing it off.The museum is quite small but rich, it also teaches us a lot about the history of the city.To recommend!

The Ritz-Carlton, Montreal: what do users think?

Aurore R.M.: Hotel highlights Luxury

Jerry Ehlers: . The pool has such great views of the city. The staff were all so sweet. It was my first time in Montreal and I felt so welcomed. This was my favorite stay in a hotel, hands down. I stayed in the 2 queen room

Stephen Milioti: My brother and I, along with some friends, stayed at the Ritz-Carlton Montreal for five nights when the World Figure Skating Championships were in town, and the experience was first rate all the way. From the minute we checked in, we were received so warmly by everyone at the hotel. And it only got better as the time went on. From Irene at the front desk to Guillaume in the Palm Court bar/restaurant, everyone was exemplary at their job and went above and beyond. As grand as this over-a-century-old building is, the rooms are fresh, contemporary and state-of-the-art. They feel individual and personal, with none of the cookie-cutter quality that even top luxury chains are falling prey to these days.I can’t recommend this hotel enough — it is truly one of the most special places we have stayed.Safety: Security is excellent. You need a hotel key to access the elevator and the key only provides access to your floor.Food & drinks: Try the RC cocktail at the Palm Court! It’s next level

Max Staubin: Very good, first time going there since the major renovations a few years ago. It really is the number one hotel in MontrealRooms: Very luxurious and ultra comfortable, excellent service

erick meguid: Cant beat the Ritz-Carlton. Downtown central, great location for shopping and sightseeing, everything wonderful about montreal is a small walk, staff and service you will find none better and after a hard day being a tourist, one can only enjoy your comfortable surroundings, cocktails and champagne with friends, thank you ritz carlton, until we return again

Chris Payne: The Ritz will always be the Ritz. Always the best. No disappointments.Nearby activities: Smack downtown. Near all the stores, galleries restaurants and clubs.Walkability: Easy to walk anywhere downtown. Also close to the Metro.Food & drinks: Excellent foodNoteworthy details: Very classy.
