Our workshops are designed to help students learn useful coping skills, set long term goals, and channel their personality traits towards achieving them, so that they can thrive in all areas of their lives.

Research involving randomized controlled trials shows that participating in just two 90-minute PreVenture workshops can reduce substance use and promote mental wellness in adolescents

The PreVenture workshops are run by trained facilitators in schools and communities around the world. Learn more about the program and how to become part of the PreVenture community of practice.

Dr. Conrod’s initial research identified that personality traits play a role in determining the who, what and how of risk for substance abuse disorders. These findings are the basis for the PreVenture program.
