BBAM! Gallery: what do users think?

Carlos Denner: Had dinner there and listened to great live local jazz players. Art + music + food = happiness

Vaga bounded: Really cool place. It’s very unique, unlike many mainstream galleries. The art peices are stunning and varied. Alison was very welcoming and friendly. I really recommend checking this place out!

Peyman Sayyadi: Cute little Gallery with a lot of stunning artwork. They have a great collection of vintage music albums as well.

Roberto Verdi: Every experience at BBAM has been culturally, socially, intellectually and spiritually uplifting. The reason is that the owners, who curate the art and music collections, and produce and host the many live events, are filled with reverence and enthusiasm for the work and lives of the artists they represent, and have a deep commitment to bettering their community. Aside from that, they are a lot of fun and welcome everyone with genuine friendliness.

Luis Kr ST: This gallery is great, you can also find CDs, DVDs and LPs. The lady is very kind.

Mj Fratinelli: Great place if you are looking for local art or music. Lots of oldies ie..CDs MP3s, at a great price. The staff is super friendly and the owners Ralph and Alison could not be more charming.

HeyYYo: I loved the ambiance and the fascinating owners! Worth a visit

Max Tenenbaum: Friendly staff, who process a thorough knowledge of the gallery’s many beautiful works.

Thomas Kolofsky: Cool place to hang and chat, owners were very cool, picked up a book and a couple of vinyls lots of art on display and available for purchase. Go on in hangout and enjoy! Maybe run in to some cool peeps

moonprison: First time I walked in here with my friend who had been there a few times already, I was a bit worried we were chattering too loudly until Allison told us flat out that we made her day with how happy we were looking around at records. Ralph and Allison are incredibly kind and really wonderful folks who have a really diverse selection of records on display, not to mention the incredible art that's all over the gallery! Truly a unique place, and a lovingly cared for one at that.

A D: I have not been in a while due to it being a bit out of my way , but over the years I have always found nice clean LP's and to see Ralph's collection of photos from back in the day is amazing.

Brendan Brown: What a great find! My wife and I spent a fun, rainy afternoon exploring the many levels and spaces at The Montreal Arts Center/Museum. The guided headphone tour is narrated by Allan Diamond, the founder and artistic director, who we also got to meet in person and talk to. The eclectic rooms/galleries run the gamut from outsider art, fine arts, antiques to jewelry. I even loved the beautiful wallpapers! Well worth an “off the beaten path” visit.

Sheli Stevens: Located in a beautiful historic building, this non-profit community art center offers so many amazing things. It also has so much warmth and charm. The piano bar on street level is cozy and classy and the larger event space upstairs is perfect for private and company parties, fundraisers and exhibitions. There are many art and music events happening here monthly. Themed holiday parties and live music events are always amazing.Performers and musicians are often booked for special events in the three bars. The museum is very interesting as well. The permanent private collection includes International, local and regional art, artifacts, photos, paintings and articles. They also provide studio spaces for artists to rent and host drawing and paint classes. As well there is a small movie theatre that often shows classic and popular movies and is also available for private screenings and events. If you live in the neighbourhood or are visiting, I highly recommend a visit.I have had the pleasure of performing for an event here and it was such a wonderful night.

J.T. Ivanov: The Best Gallery on the block.

Josée P: A magnificent gallery with the works of talented artists. And unparalleled service! My latest crush, a gift from me to me

Miroslaw Baszak: A really special gallery with a unique collectionof artist. We had an excellent experience there while buying an Ian Healy drawing.Isabel and Clare were very helpful, and patient.Isabel’s knowledge of the artists they represent was really impressive. This gallery is a find! We’ll visit often…

Avant Gartiste: Isabel is touchingly charming, I felt at home in this beautiful place.

Gary Hirst: Thank you very much for your help, picture looks superb, very happy !

Lise Muller: . Isabel communicated costs and shipping options to the US. When she had to get back to me about specifics, she always did so at the times that she said she would. Today I received the photo that I chose and it was packaged perfectly. Isabel called me very shortly after receiving it to make sure it arrived and in good condition. I could not be happier with my experience at Galerie Youn and highly recommend them. Will definitely stop in the next time I am in Montreal.

Adam Dryden: recently acquired a work by the incredibly talented and original Mark Liam Smith and despite the international nature of the transaction it went without a hitch. Juno, Isabel and the team's enthusiasm for their subject is matched by their professionalism and their stable of artists clearly chosen with intelligence and great care. I wish you every success in the future and will doubtless be back for more of Mr Smith's work in the future. Thank you all. Please think about opening a gallery in London.

Magalie Jisook Lussier: Couldn't be happier with my experience at Galerie Youn. Juno, the owner, has created a place where buying art feels accessible and personalized. I was helped by Isabel and she made it such an easy and fun experience, like talking to a friend about your likes and dislikes. You get the feeling that they're not just a business, but they genuinely care about art, their artists and making sure you find the perfect piece for you. Much needed in the art world.

Corentin Mainix: I had the chance to pass by the Youn gallery during my trip to Montreal! It was a magnificent experience. I was received by incredible staff who were able to direct me to essential works of art. The newly renovated space exudes modernity mixed with the old. Very highly recommended for any art lover!

Ian Stone: It’s difficult to find contemporary art that leaves you awed, impressed and humbled. Juno Youn is brilliant at curating local and international talent with both a sense of simplicity and deliberate design. Definitely stop in and fall in love with the array of artists on display. I recently bought a piece and Juno was kind, easy to speak to and made the entire transaction an experience to remember.

Anthony Hotte Matteo: Very nice discovery on the plateau. Excellent customer service 👌

C: Always a pleasure to discover the works of the artists presented there.

Janine Gordon: I'd award Galerie YOUN six stars if the platform permitted it. They certainly deserve the accolade in terms of quality of art, individual attention and customer service. We wish them success, success and more success.

Miguel Crespo: about working a art piece I saw on their instagram page, and he was the best, he walked through the entire process, because I'd never brought anything from Canada
